With your claws of might you protect me,
But when I wrangled with you,
You threw me out.
Your charming ways history,
And violence overcomes you.
I stand in the presence of the Lord of Light,
Completely different from you.
Yet I'm punished for going into his presence.
Oh, I lament.
Who will take me under his wing?
Who will protect me from the hail, the rain, and the lightning?
I am doomed to fend for myself,
Like a ghost without a body.
I wander aimlessly around the woods,
And feed on the sadness I see.

Until I met you again.
You covered me with your delicate blanket,
Placed me in front of the fireplace,
And hugged me tight like an affectionate father.
